Successful appearance of Trapeze at the InnoTrans 2010 in Berlin
Neuhausen am Rheinfall, 27 September 2010 – Trapeze’s four-day appearance at the InnoTrans, the international trade fair for railway technology that was held in Berlin from 21 to 24 September 2010, was extremely successful. Countless prospects from Europe and the Near and Far East paid a visit to the exhibition stand. Trapeze presented trend-setting solutions for bus and rail transport systems based on a philosophy of “Thinking in 360 Degrees” in the fields of planning, automatic vehicle location & control, vehicle equipment and passenger information.
Trapeze showed innovative and high-quality solutions and products for public and private passenger transport companies around the globe. They covered software solutions for optimising planning and enhancing the efficiency of bus and rail transport operations, including comprehensive transfer protection. In addition, the latest displays for dynamic passenger information in vehicles by single or dual display screens were shown. One of the special highlights was the new Web Display Feed solution, which combines dynamic passenger information with topics from the Internet. On the one hand, this solution offers passengers comprehensive information on routes in service and the next departures at major stops or at central pedestrian passageways. On the other hand, the transport authority can convey interesting additional information and – for example – show a site map of the surroundings of the stop.
The company also presented its new, varied planning and analysis tools for optimising quality and making management decisions. They included on the one hand ActiveForms+, the tool featuring automated action templates for quick and effective responses to incidents, and on the other the increasingly popular Business Intelligence module, which supplies extensive information for strategic and executive management of the transport company.
From its comprehensive portfolio, Trapeze showed its solutions for flexible and transparent personnel dispatch planning and automated wages accounting. Other highlights were integrated planning and dispatching solutions for public transport agencies which offer fixed route and demand response transport services plus IT tools for driver and vehicle dispatch planning. State-of-the-art vehicle equipment such as the IBISplus on-board computer and the various on-board operation terminals for applications inside vehicles rounded out the presentation.
The visitors from all parts of the world displayed a keen interest in the all-embracing solutions presented by Trapeze. An unexpectedly large number of talks with customers and partners were held, and the company was able to establish numerous new relationships and deepen existing contacts.

Trapeze develops and produces complete solutions for public and private transport companies. The innovative approaches to solutions are based on a philosophy of “Thinking in 360 Degrees” that gives consideration to all aspects of public transport.
